MXR Technologies, LLC designs and manufactures a wide spectrum of custom-built static mixing equipment for the continuous processing of polymers, liquid-liquid mixing, gas-liquid contacting, slurries and solids, desuperheaters & direct steam injection heating device to produce hot water.

Type "XB" Extrusion Melt Blender

The Extrusion Static Mixer Melt Blender creates a very high degree of mixing of the polymer melt extrudate just in front of the die. For high performance applications, the X-Grid crossing-bar Type "XB" static mixer designs create a very high degree of mixing in a short length.

Type "XM" X Grid Static Mixer

The Type "XM" static mixer is constructed of X-Grid crossing bars. It has been used successfully for over 35 years for the mixing and/or dispersion of viscous fluids. The "XM" static mixer is considered a high performance design that homogenizes viscous materials in a short length and is capable of mixing materials with equal or very large differences in viscosity and volumetric flow rates.

Type "CM" Custody Transfer Mixer

The Type "CM" Custody Transfer Mixers employ a simple, reliable design to provide the ultimate in mixing. It achieves high mixing efficiency through multiple-action mixing. The crude oil and water content are mixed through two-by-two division thus increasing geometrically with each mixing element adeed, cross-current mixing which randomizes water droplet distribution by direct steam impingement and back-mixing which dramatically improve turbulence and mixing. These three mixing action occur simultaneously in each mixing element section. The "CM" Custody Transfer Mixer solves the problem when accurate sampling is required such as in the custody transfer of crude oil from either ship to shore or storage facility to another. Standard Material of construction is Carbon Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 60" diameter.

Type "P" Static Mixer with Side Port

The standard Type "P" Static Mixers includes a side port for the introduction of an additive or chemicals to be mixed and employ a simple, reliable design to provide the ultimate in mixing. It achieves high mixing efficiency through multiple-action mixing. The liquid usually water and additives are mixed through two-by-two division thus increasing geometrically with each mixing element added, cross-current mixing which randomizes water droplet distribution by direct steam impingement and back-mixing which dramatically improve turbulence and mixing. These three mixing action occur simlutaneously in each mixing element section. The "P" Static Mixer solves the problem when mixing of two liquids is required. Standard Material of construction is Carbon Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 48" diameter. Typical mixing application includes mixing water or chemicals in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Chemical Plants, Oil Refineries, Oil & Gas Plants, Food Processing, Pulp & Paper Mills.

Type "N" Static Mixer - No Side Port

The standard Type "N" Static Mixers employ a simple, reliable design to provide the ultimate in mixing. It achieves high mixing efficiency through multiple-action mixing. The liquid usually water and additives are injected upstream of the static mixer are mixed through two-by-two division thus increasing geometrically with each mixing element added, cross-current mixing which randomizes water droplet distribution by direct steam impingement and back-mixing which dramatically improve turbulence and mixing. These three mixing action occur simlutaneously in each mixing element section. The "N" Static Mixer solves the problem when mixing of two liquids is required. Typical mixing application includes mixing water or chemicals in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, Chemical Plants, Oil Refineries, Oil & Gas Plants, Food Processing, Pulp & Paper Mills. Standard Material of construction is Carbon Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 3/4" to 48" diameter.

Type "SM" Sanitary Static Mixers

Highly polished sanitary static mixing units are suitable for use in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, beverage and other industries. When Clean-In-Place (CIP) operations are required, the Type "SM" Sanitary static mixer is best due to its open structure. When Clean-Out-Of-Place operations are acceptable, the high performance Type "XM" polished mixing unit will create a very high degree of mixing in a short length. Typical Mixing apllication includes mixing Tomato paste, Ketchup, Condiments, Jams, Jellies, Yogurt, Dairy Products, Soft Drinks & Juices.

Type "SH" In-line Steam Heater

The Type "SH" Steam Heater is a very high heating efficiency device (up to 99%) due to direct steam injection into the process line. No moving parts, low capital cost,minimize noise and vibration and practically no annual maintenance cost required. Using a single modulating steam control valve, the Type "SH" Steam Heater could provide up to 10:1 turndown capability. Typical Steam Heating application includes direct injection of steam into water line to produce hot water in Chemical Plants, Oil Refineries, Oil & Gas Plants, Food Processing, Mining, Pulp & Paper Mills for the heating of paper pulp flow steams. Standard Material of construction is Type 316/L Stainless Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 1" to 36" diameter.

Type "TH" Tank Heaters

The Type "TH" Tank Heaters is custom-designed for direct injection of steam into a tank containing liquid or water compatible products in a noise-free, vibration-free and highly efficient fashion (up to 99% efficiency). Each unit employs 2 specially designed mixing modules to equally disperse the steam inside the tank. Typical Steam Heating application includes direct injection of steam into the tank to produce hot water in Chemical Plants, Oil Refineries, Oil & Gas Plants, Food Processing, Mining, Pulp & Paper Mills for heating process water. Standard Material of construction is Type 316/L Stainless Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 2" to 8" diameter.

Type "DE" Desuperheater

The Type "DE" Steam Heater is custom-designed for direct injection of water vapor in the form of water mist into a line containing superheated steam in highly efficient fashion. Each unit employs 2 specially designed mixing modules to instantaneously mix the water mist with the superheated steam in a mixing chamber. Typical desuperheater application includes Power Generation, Process Industries, Paper and Board Industy, Food Industry, Chemical & Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Brewing & Distilling, Boiler & Turbine installation. Standard Material of construction is Type 316/L Stainless Steel. Available in pipe sizes from 3" to 60" diameter.
